One of the most fun and exciting ways of travelling is hiking or exploring the unknown. A lot of people are now turning towards exploring these sorts of places that are not packed with people. The famous travel destinations are overcrowded and they have become too mainstream. Especially after the pandemic and being locked down, people really love to explore Nature.
Discovering or visiting ‘abandoned’ places and things has become a truly great kind of travel among all types. Photographers have shared a large number of images of these abandoned locations to the internet. It’s fascinating to see as a location or an object is gradually reclaimed by Nature as the maker consumes it. And one photographer who is enamoured with these “abandoned” locations recently shared a collection of distinct structures. Roman Robroek is a photographer who gathered a collection of images of abandoned churches he saw around Europe.
